Through the GARDASIL® [Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent (Types 6, 11, 16, 18) Vaccine, Recombinant] Access Program, Merck has pledged to donate at least three million doses of GARDASIL for use in smaller scale HPV vaccination projects in eligible lowest income countries around the world.
Axios Healthcare Development (AHD) will convene the GARDASIL Access Program Advisory Board twice per year to review incoming applications, following each semiannual application deadline.
AHD will continue to actively disseminate the operational experiences and lessons learned by program participants, in an effort to contribute to the public knowledge base on HPV vaccine access and child and adolescent immunization models in developing countries.
