Outside Merck, Dr. Rosenblatt and his team build collaborations and alliances, share ideas and exchange fresh insights so that Merck can better address health challenges through our innovations. Inside Merck, they provide medical and scientific perspective to inform research and development as well as commercial and corporate strategies, including our social responsibilities, and play a direct role in fostering scientific transparency, consumer and professional medical education and employee wellness.
Together, the CMO and his team play a unique role in helping Merck and Merck employees keep a sharp focus on patients in everything we do. The CMO represents a new role at Merck, but one that builds on the company's longstanding commitment to helping the world be well.
